Maoist Center to contest upcoming elections without forming alliances: Prachanda

Hetauda, February 15 — In a meeting with party workers in Makwanpur's Bagmati Rural Municipality, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda,' Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister, stated that the Maoist party has become a symbol of change and honesty towards the people.
He mentioned that citizens who had previously undermined the Maoists now feel a shift in perception.
Prachanda highlighted that the trust in the Maoist Center has significantly increased, especially after the party's interactions with citizens across the country.
He emphasized that, during his tenure as Prime Minister, the Maoist party worked towards the betterment of citizens and fought against middlemen and land mafias, which fueled hope among the people.
Chairman Prachanda revealed that the Maoist Center intends to contest the upcoming elections independently, without forming alliances with any other parties.
He directed party members to prepare for a strong and decisive campaign to secure a victory in the elections.
