'Forces attempting to reverse achievements of People's War'

Kathmandu, February 13 — Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has stated that certain forces are attempting to reverse the legitimacy established by the Constituent Assembly through the People’s War and People’s Movement.

While addressing a program in Tamghas, Gulmi, on Thursday, he clarified that the struggle between these forces continues.

He said, "With the strength of the People's War and People's Movement, some forces, ideologies, and elements are attempting to overturn the legitimacy established by the Constituent Assembly. We are working to strengthen this and lay the foundation for socialism. Even now, a struggle persists between two classes, two ideologies, and two forces."

He further emphasized, "Even after achieving a federal democratic republic, reactionary forces will try to replace it with a bourgeois republic or a reactionary republic, or even push it back towards autocracy. We had warned of this earlier."
