MP Sharma questions Minister Chaudhary over ‘His Majesty's Government’ reference

Kathmandu, February 10 — In the National Assembly, CPN (Maoist Center) MP Maya Prasad Sharma raised a question regarding Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary signing a regulation with "His Majesty's Government" written on it.

During Monday's session of the National Assembly, Sharma demanded a response from Minister Chaudhary. He asked, "Is the 1990 Constitution still in effect? Has it been amended?" 

He further pointed out the phrase "as per the laws established by His Majesty's Government," which appeared in the minister's official schedule.

Sharma questioned, "Is the 1990 Constitution still being implemented, or has it been amended? I would like to understand."

Sharma also raised concerns about the situation in rural areas, stating, "If there is a fire at the Ministry of Water Supply, what would happen to the villages?"
