One dead, 23 injured in bus accident in Dhading

Kathmandu, February 10 — A bus carrying pilgrims from Bhaktapur met with an accident in Dhading, resulting in one death.

23 people were injured, three of whom are in critical condition.

The bus with registration number Ba 3 Kha 8923, which was heading from Bhaktapur towards Devghat in Chitwan, lost control and crashed around 10 PM on Sunday at the Satkilo area of Thakre Rural Municipality-7 along the Prithvi Highway in Dhading.

Parbati Kafle, a 50-year-old woman from Dolakha's Bhirkot Rural Municipality, succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at the Nepal Police Hospital in Maharajgunj, as confirmed by the Nepal Police.
