Rabi Lamichhane meets Speaker Ghimire, requests suspension to be revoked

Kathmandu, January 31 — Suspended Member of Parliament from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has urged Speaker Devraj Ghimire to lift his suspension.

Lamichhane met with Speaker Ghimire at the Speaker's office in Singhadurbar on Friday, requesting the lifting of his suspension.

In his petition to the Speaker, Lamichhane argued that since he has been acquitted by the courts after an investigation into criminal charges, his suspension should be lifted.
