Melina Rai to tie the knot today

Kathmandu, January 17 — Popular singer Melina Rai is set to marry today (Friday).

She is getting married to her boyfriend Dhruva Gurung in a traditional ceremony. The wedding is being held at the Himali Ghar Resort in Gokarneshwar.

The wedding ceremony, which will begin at 1:00 PM, will be attended by close relatives from both sides, as well as singers, musicians, and film industry professionals. The venue was decorated on Thursday, with the entrance gate adorned with flowers and the names of Melina and Dhruva.

Melina is a well-known figure in Nepal's music industry, famous for her modern songs as well as her playback singing for films. Many of her songs have been hits in the Nepali music scene.

Dhruva, who hails from Ilam, is a British Army personnel. The couple is transitioning from a brief love affair into marriage.

Though preparations for the wedding began a few weeks ago, the couple had their engagement a few days earlier, with photos released on Thursday. They celebrated their engagement wearing traditional attire.

Melina, who is getting married today, has received congratulations and best wishes from both celebrities and the general public on social media.
