Gold price up by NPR 800 per tola

Kathmandu, January 9 —The price of gold increased by 800 rupees per tola (11.66 grams) in the Nepali market on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price hike is compared to Wednesday's rate.

As per the new prices, the value of hallmarked gold on Thursday is set at 153,300 rupees per tola, while it was 152,500 rupees per tola the previous day.

Similarly, the price of silver has also risen.

On Wednesday, silver was priced at 1,830 rupees per tola, but it increased to 1,840 rupees per tola on Thursday, as stated by the Federation.
