NEPSE drops by 31.43 points

Kathmandu, December 19 — On the last trading day of the week, Thursday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 31.43 points.

Starting at 2,626 points, the market continuously declined, reaching 2,596 points.

Despite the overall market decline, shares of 29 companies increased on Thursday.

Support Microfinance saw a positive circuit on its share price, while shares of Saamudaayik Microfinance increased by 8%.

On the other hand, the shares of 211 companies decreased, with Narayani Development Bank experiencing a 9.21% drop.

In terms of trading volume, Janaki Finance topped the list, with a turnover of NPR 17.6 million.

Overall, the market saw a transaction of NPR 4.76 billion on Thursday.
