NEPSE drops by 33.42 points on Thursday
Kathmandu, December 12 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 33.42 points on Thursday, closing at 2,682.29 points.
This drop followed a market rally on Wednesday when the index had surged by nearly 46 points.
The downturn marked the last trading day of the week, with a total turnover of NPR 6.14 billion.
The decline was widespread, with 204 companies experiencing a drop in share prices.
Only 40 companies saw their values increase, and no company’s stock price remained unchanged.
Among the various market sectors, the finance sector faced the most significant loss, dropping by 2.64%.
While the production and mutual fund sectors saw some growth, most other groups suffered losses.
