NEPSE index drops by 12.84 points on Monday

Kathmandu, December 9 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 12.84 points on Monday, falling to 2,676 points.

The market saw a decline in the double digits, with 138 companies' share prices falling, while 92 companies saw an increase and 13 companies' share prices remained unchanged.

Monday also witnessed a decrease in trading volume, with a total of NPR 5.62 billion worth of transactions.

In terms of trading volume, NRN Infrastructure Company topped the list, with a total of NPR 352.7 million in transactions.

Emerging Nepal Limited saw the highest gains on Monday, with its share price increasing by 8.76%.
