RSP President Lamichhane presented before Kaski District Court

Pokhara, December 8 — Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has been presented in the Kaski District Court. He was brought to the court a while ago.

Lamichhane, who is under investigation for cooperative fraud, money laundering, and organized crime, is likely to face an extension of his detention.

On October 19, Lamichhane was arrested and was kept in Kaski police custody. During his detention, he was taken to Butwal, Kathmandu, and Chitwan for questioning.

He is accused of embezzling funds from various cooperatives and using the money in the Gorkha Media.
