Bhutan King Wangchuk visits Swayambhu (photos)

Kathmandu, December 6 — The King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk, arrived in Kathmandu on Friday.

Namgyel, who landed in Kathmandu from India on Friday morning, is currently visiting Swayambhunath.

On a private visit to Nepal, he will visit Boudhanath after his visit to Swayambhunath.

After completing his visits to Swayambhunath and Boudhanath, he is scheduled to return to his country via Tribhuvan International Airport on the same day, Friday.

During his stay in Nepal, there are no formal meetings planned with anyone, according to security sources.
