NRB to raise 50 billion via auction of deposit instruments

Kathmandu, November 24 — The central bank is set to raise 50 billion through the banking system.

This Sunday afternoon at 2 PM, Nepal Rastra Bank will be conducting an auction for the equivalent amount in deposit instruments.

The auctioned instruments will have a maturity period of 14 days and will mature on December 8.

Banks and financial institutions can participate in the auction with a minimum bid of 100 million, and they can bid for any amount above 50 million.
