Stock market declines by 31.31 points on Thursday

Kathmandu, November 21 — On the last trading day of the week, Thursday, the stock market has fallen by 31.31 points. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the market index decreased by 1.15% and dropped to 2680.44 points.

Today, a total of 18.4 million shares were bought and sold in the market, amounting to a total transaction value of 8.25 billion 76 million rupees.

Among the 244 companies traded today, the share prices of 197 companies decreased, while 43 companies saw an increase in share prices, and four companies had no change in their share prices.

Shares of Samudayik Microfinance and Three Star Hydropower saw a positive circuit today, while the share of Janaki Finance experienced a negative circuit.

Among the 13 subgroups in the market, all saw a decline, with the Finance group showing the largest decrease of 2.86%, as reported by NEPSE.
