Cooperative victims stage protest in Kathmandu (photos)
Kathmandu, November 20 — Cooperative victims staged a protest in the capital today. The protest was organized by the Federation of National Campaign for the Protection of Cooperative Savers.
The protesters held a rally from various locations in the valley, including Sohrakhutte, Chabahil, Gatthaghar, and Pulchowk. The rally turned into a corner meeting at Maitighar.
The protesters carried placards and banners with slogans such as "Nearly 3 trillion rupees of cooperative savers have been looted. Help! Help!", "No food in the kitchens of cooperative victims", "Justice is dead, government, where are you?", and "Cooperative victims across Nepal, we stand united".
