Kathmandu, Novemberm 19 — A case related to the disputed land donation received by the CPN-UML has been postponed as it could not be reviewed. On Tuesday, the hearing was scheduled in the joint bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Abdul Aziz Musalman but was deferred due to lack of time.

Earlier, on Sunday, the case was scheduled in the bench of Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, but it was also postponed that day due to time constraints.

Advocate Gyan Bahadur Basnet filed the case, and during the initial hearing, the Supreme Court issued a short-term interim order on October 28. Justice Sunil Kumar Pokharel's bench had ordered a temporary halt to the land acquisition from Min Bahadur Gurung, the owner of Bhatbhateni Department Store.

Advocate Basnet filed the writ on October 23, seeking the annulment of Gurung's decision to donate land to the UML through an interim order.
