Gold and silver prices surge in domestic market

 Kathmandu, November 19 — The price of gold in the Nepali market increased by NPR 1,100 per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold, which was set at NPR 161,000 per tola on Monday, rose to NPR 162,100 per tola on Tuesday.  

Similarly, the price of hallmark gold per 10 grams has been recorded at NPR 138,945.  

Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase. The price of silver, which was NPR 1,905 per tola on Monday, rose to NPR 1,955 per tola on Tuesday, according to the Federation.
