NC to fly its flag at half-mast in honor of late former Speaker Dhungana
Kathmandu, November 18 — The Nepali Congress has decided to lower the party's flag to half-mast at its central office on November 18 and 19, in honor of the late former Speaker Daman Nath Dhungana.
The decision was made during a meeting of the party's central working committee on Monday.
The meeting also decided to close the central office on November 19, and to hold a condolence meeting at the central office on the 13th day.
Dhungana, aged 83, passed away on Sunday at Frontline Hospital in the capital, where he had been receiving treatment.
