Sewa Lamsal endorsed as Nepal’s ambassador to Belgium

Kathmandu, October 30 — The proposal to appoint Sewa Lamsal as the Nepali Ambassador to Belgium has been approved. The parliamentary hearing committee approved her name during a meeting held today.

Earlier in the meeting, Lamsal presented her action plan. In her proposal, she stated that if her name is approved by the committee, she aims to expand relations between the two countries and play an active and effective role in protecting and promoting Nepal's national interests in multilateral forums.

She also mentioned that her priorities would include promoting tourism and seeking opportunities for high-income and dignified employment.
