APF personnel accused of raping minor commits suicide in Dang

Butwal, October 28 — Reban Pachabhaiya Magar, an Armed Police Force member, has taken his own life at the Ward Police Office in Ghorahi after being arrested on charges of raping a minor in Dang.

Magar, originally from Baddanda in Pyuthan, was apprehended by the police a few days ago in Bhaluwang on allegations of assaulting a minor.

According to SP Arjun Timsena at the District Police Office, Dang, Magar was found hanging in the toilet this morning with a noose made from a t-shirt. He had already confessed to the police about the crime.
