RSP to continue protests even today

Kathmandu, October 27 — The opposition party, the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has announced another street protest today. According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, the demonstration will take place at Maitighar Mandala.

The protest is scheduled for today from 3 PM to 5 PM at Maitighar Mandala. "In line with the decision made by the central committee of the RSP yesterday, we will continue the protest program," he stated.

The party has been conducting ongoing street protests since the arrest of party president Rabi Lamichhane over allegations of embezzlement in a cooperative savings scheme.
