Rajendra Mahato to register new party today
Kathmandu, October 25 —The Rashtriya Mukti Kranti Nepal, formed under the leadership of Rajendra Mahato, is set to be officially registered with the Election Commission today. However, after the commission did not allow the word "Kranti" in the party's name, it has been decided to name the party the Rashtriya Mukti Party Nepal.
The party will be registered under this new name, and its central executive committee is expected to consist of 181 members. Currently, Rajendra Mahato will serve as the chairperson, while the remaining members will fill other positions. Mahato began his political journey with the Nepal Sadbhawana Party and has been leading the Rashtriya Mukti Kranti after separating from the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal.
Previously, he had also formed his own Sadbhawana Party after leaving the Nepal Sadbhawana Party. After being associated with parties like the Rashtriya Janata Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, he is now working to register the Rashtriya Mukti Party under his leadership. This party aims to advocate for the establishment of a multicultural nation. While Mahato was previously active in movements centered around the Madhesh, he is now initiating campaigns focused on national issues.
