Finance Minister Paudel heads to Washington

Kathmandu, October 22 — Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has departed for the United States.

He left for Washington, D.C. last night to participate in the annual meeting of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

While in Washington, D.C. and New York, Minister Paudel is scheduled to hold bilateral and multilateral meetings, as confirmed by his secretariat. He is expected to return to the country in the second week of Kartik.
