NEPSE declines by 47.44 points
Kathmandu, October 20 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 47.44 points on Sunday. Trading began at 2,733 points but quickly dropped to 2,697 points within moments.
After experiencing significant fluctuations, NEPSE climbed to a high of 2,748 points on Sunday. Ultimately, trading was halted at 2,698 points.
On Sunday, 18 companies saw their stock prices increase, while 226 companies experienced declines. A total of 2,080,000 shares were bought and sold, resulting in a transaction volume of NPR 8.18 billion.
In terms of transaction value, Goodwill Finance Limited held the top spot on Sunday, with shares valued at NPR 4.57 billion traded.
Additionally, the Sensitive Index decreased by 1.59% on Sunday, with all sub-indices showing a decline. The finance sub-index dropped the most, falling by 4%.
