In pictures: Rabi in Kaski Police custody, supporters assemble outside

Pokhara, October 19 — Former Home Minister and president of the Rashtriya Swotantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, who was apprehended by the CIB in Kathmandu on Friday, is currently in the custody of the Kaski police.

He was apprehended from the party office in Kathmandu and subsequently transported to Pokhara via road. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) is reported to have handed him over to the Kaski police around 3 a.m. on Saturday. Following this, he was placed in detention, as confirmed by the authorities.

Prior to his detention, Rabi underwent a medical examination at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences before being taken to the District Police Office, Kaski.

Meanwhile, during his transport to Pokhara, numerous supporters gathered along the route, vocally expressing their support for Rabi. They protested against the government while chanting slogans in his favor. Additionally, supporters gathered in front of the Kaski police office, continuing their demonstrations.
