Water levels in some rivers remain above danger mark
Kathmandu, September 29 — Although the continuous rainfall has stopped, the water levels in some rivers across the country remain above the danger mark. The water level of the Saptakoshi in Chatara is still above the danger level.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, as of 7 AM on Sunday, the water level was above the danger mark but is decreasing.
The department also reported that the flow of the Narayani, Karnali, and Mahakali rivers, along with their tributaries, as well as the Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, East Rapti, West Rapti, and Babai rivers, which had previously exceeded the alert level, has decreased today.
