'NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards 2080' concludes (Photos)

Kathmandu, September 13 — The 'NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards 2080' has concluded with awards presented in various categories. At the ceremony held on Friday at Nepal Pragya Pratisthan in Kamaladi, the award for the Best Male Player of the Year went to Rohit Kumar Paudel, captain of the Nepal national cricket team, as announced by the organizers, Nepal Sports Journalists Forum.

The Best Coach award was won by karate expert Kushal Shrestha, while the Para Athlete award went to para-taekwondo player Palesha Gobardhan.

The Best Female Player award was claimed by karate player Erika Gurung, and the People's Choice Award was won by volleyball player Kabita Bhatta.

The Special Award was received by volleyball player Kumar Rai, and the Sports Journalist Award went to a Korean sports journalist.

Hemant Pal was named the Best Young Player of the Year, and the Women's Kabaddi team was declared the Best Team. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to former Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) president Binay Raj Pandey.
