Judicial Council meets today, appointment of vacant judges on the agenda

Kathmandu: The Judicial Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday to address the appointment of judges to vacant positions.

The Judicial Service Commission members will also participate in this meeting as invitees.

Chief Justice Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha is expected to discuss the appointment of judges during the meeting.

At present, there are four vacant judge positions in the Supreme Court, ten in the High Court, and thirty-five in the District Court.
