NEA decides to reconnect electricity line to industries

Kathmandu. The Board of Directors of Nepal Electricity Authority has decided to connect industrial lines. After receiving the written instructions from the Electricity Regulatory Commission on Sunday evening, the board meeting of the authority decided to connect electricity to the industries whose lines were cut. The Commission has said that this provision is contained in Sub-section 10 of Section 13 of the "Electricity Consumer Interest Protection Directive, 2080". According to this, it was directed to connect the line immediately.

After receiving the directive from the commission, all the members of the board of directors of the authority, which met on Monday, agreed to connect the industry line. ‘All the members of the steering committee have agreed to join the line of industry,’ A member of the board of directors told Ratopati, ‘Now the line of the industry will be connected after completing the necessary process.’

The authority had been cutting the line of the industry in a hurry after the dedicated and trunk line arrears dispute. The dispute between the industry and the authorities for a long time is taking a new turn after the formation of the new government. The government has been adopting the policy of obtaining authority and leadership.
