Two Arrested with Brown Sugar in Nepalgunj

Banke. Two people have been arrested with 80 grams 370 milligrams of brown sugar from Udhaopurwa, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-14, Banke.

Those arrested are local 42-year-old Jaswant Chauhan Lonia and 37-year-old Mina Kumari Lonia.

A police team deployed on the basis of special information searched them on suspicion. During the search, a plastic packet was found hidden inside the fist of Jaswant Chauhan Lonia. Upon opening the packet, a brown sticky substance resembling 80 grams 370 milligrams of brown sugar was recovered, police said.

Further investigation is underway against both individuals taken into custody with the drugs under the offense related to narcotics. Police have stated that the process of necessary legal action is being forwarded by keeping them in custody.
