One Dead in Kailali Road Accident

Kailali. One person has died when a car with an Indian number plate hit a motorcycle at Boradandi Chowk, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City 3, Kailali. The deceased has been identified as Padam Chand, 48, a resident of Sigas Rural Municipality 1, Gajkot, Baitadi, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle. The motorcycle, with registration number SE 4 PA 952, was going from Dhangadhi Chowk towards Attariya when it was hit by the Indian car, UP65EX 0100. Chand, who was seriously injured in the collision, was immediately rushed to Mayametro Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment. Police stated that he died during treatment at the hospital. Motorcycle driver Gautam Air, who was injured in the accident, is undergoing treatment at CP Hospital in Dhangadhi. His condition is currently reported to be normal. The police have apprehended the driver who fled with the car immediately after the accident. Ashwani Kumar Singh, 42, residing in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, has been taken into custody along with the car from Lalpur, Godavari Municipality 6, Kailali. Police have mentioned that further investigation into the incident is being carried out while the arrested driver is in custody.
