Kathmandu. Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian national cricket team. Jai Shah, Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), informed that former cricketer Gautam has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team.
Gautam was the head coach of IPL team Kolkota Knight Riders. Kolkota also won this season's IPL under his leadership.
Indian team coach Rahul Dravid's tenure ended after the recently concluded T20 World Cup.
