SEE results published, 47.86 percent of examinees passed

Kathmandu. The SEE results have been published. The National Examination Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations has announced the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Only 47.86 percent of the total students who participated in the examination have passed.

52.14 percent of the examinees were 'non-graded'. This time the board has released the results according to the new 'letter grading' system. According to the letter grading system (with the third revision), students who do not score 35 percent marks in theory will be failed i.e. 'Non Graded' (NG). In which at least 27 marks should be obtained in theory out of full marks 75 and at least 10 marks in internal evaluation out of 25 full marks.

In other words, a student has to get at least 37 marks out of a total of 100 marks. If the score is less than that, 'NG' will be given. According to the board, the students who have got 'NG' in two subjects will be allowed to join the supplementary examination to be held after one month.

488,000 thousand examinees participated in SEE conducted from 15th to 27th of Chaitra 2080.
