Kedar Karki's writ scrapped, Hikmat to continue as Koshi CM

Supreme Court has scrapped the writ filed by Kedar Karki, ex Chief Minister of Koshi province, demanding his reinstatement.

With this verdict, Hikmat Karki will continue as the Chief Minister of the province. 

A full bench comprising the judges Kumar regmi, Abdul Aziz Musalman and Nahakul Subedi passed the verdict.

Kedar Karki had petitioned that he could not be removed from his position as his government was formed under the article 168 (5) of the Constitution as the last resort to stop snap polls.
