Ireland Wolves set 158-run target for Nepal 'A' after Kamal Singh Airee's hat-trick
KATHMANDU: In the opening match of the ODI series, Ireland Wolves have set a target of 158 runs for Nepal 'A' to chase for victory.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Ireland Wolves were all out for 157 runs in 38.3 overs.
Kamal Singh Airee, showcasing an impressive bowling display, claimed a remarkable four-wicket haul, including a hat-trick.
Additionally, Sahab Alam and Mausam Dhakal secured two wickets each, while Rijan Dhakal took one wicket.
Cade Carmichael top-scored for Ireland Wolves with 51 runs, supported by NA Rock's contribution of 39 runs to the team's total.
This ODI series will feature three matches between Nepal 'A' and Ireland Wolves.
In the preceding T20 series, Ireland Wolves emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Nepal 'A'.
