Gold price hits record high at Rs 133,000 per tola
KATHMANDU: Today, the price of gold in the domestic market has surged to a new all-time high, reaching Rs 133,000 per tola (11.66 grams).
This marks a significant increase of Rs 1,800 per tola compared to previous rates.
As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 131,200 just a day prior.
Similarly, the price of worked gold has also seen a substantial rise, now standing at Rs 132,350 per tola, up from Rs 130,500.
Additionally, the price of silver has witnessed an uptick, reaching Rs 1610 per tola, representing a Rs 65 increase compared to Tuesday's rates of Rs 1,545 per tola.
