CIB confiscates Rs 30 millions from Ram Bahadur Bamjan house following his arrested
KATHMANDU: Police, conducting a raid, have seized Rs 30 million from the ascetic Ram Bahadur Bamjan house in Kathmandu.
Following his arrest, police had conducted a search operation and confiscated Rs 30,375,000 from Bamjan’s house, according to the AGP Kiran Bajracharya of the CIB.
Bamjan was arrested on Tuesday by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) from Budhanilkantha Hattigauda area of Kathmandu.
The allegations against Bamjan include accusations of murdering followers, causing their disappearance, and engaging in sexual assault.
