Seven including Govinda KC arrested from Maitighar (with photos)

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested seven individuals including medical activist Govinda KC from Maitighar, Kathmandu.

Govinda KC along with his supporters were staging protests and demonstrations at Maitighar which has been declared a prohibited zone by the government. 

KC has demanded immediate actions against crimes committed during the armed conflict, urging justice for the affected families, and expeditious completion of the transitional justice process along with the implementation of prior agreements.
