Election Commission reshuffles officers in anticipation of upcoming NA election

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has orchestrated a reorganization of election officers across all seven provinces in preparation for the impending National Assembly (NA) election. This move stems from the relocation of previously appointed election officers, who have now assumed roles in high courts, necessitating the appointment of a new cadre.
Here's the updated roster of election officers:
Koshi Province: Judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam from Morang District Court
Madhes Province: Judge Chitra Bahadur Gurung hailing from Dhanusha District Court
Bagmati Province: Judge Shree Prasad Sanjel representing Makwanpur District Court
Gandaki Province: Judge Shree Ram Acharya stationed at Kaski District Court
Lumbini Province: Judge Kul Prasad Pandey, whose jurisdiction is Dang District Court
Karnali Province: Judge Manoj Shrestha serving at Surkhet District Court
Sudurpaschim Province: Judge Bishnu Prasad Awasti affiliated with Kailali District Court
