Bodies of Balkumari clash victims Birendra and Sujan to be airlifted to respective home districts

KATHMANDU: The remains of Birendra Shah and Sujan Rawat, casualties of the clash between EPS students and police in Balkumari, Lalitpur last week, are scheduled to be airlifted from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to their respective home districts.

Following post-mortem examinations at Patan Hospital, the deceased bodies have been handed over to the Nepal Army for transport to Surkhet and Accham.

Birendra Shah lost his life after being shot by the police, while Sujan Rawat is suspected to have been killed in the clash.
