Durga Prasai sent back home from Pepsicola

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Police have sent back Durga Prasai, who was going to the demonstration going to be held in Gaushala, Kathmandu. He was stopped at Pepsicola Chowk, from where he was sent back to his home in Thimi, an officer of the Valley Police Office informed Ratopati.

The Durga Prasai-led ‘Great Campaign to Save the Nation, Nationalism, Religion, Culture and Citizens’ campaign has organized a demonstration today as well.

Police arrested 15 people including Dharmaguru Shriniwas Acharya, a resident of Sunsari, after there were clashes in Gaushala on Monday. One of the arrestees is Prasai’s Private Secretary Binanjaya Thapa.

Police are preparing to file a case in the court against some of those arrested.
