UML Lumbini Congress: Radhakrishna Kandel elected Chairman

BUTWAL, Sep 6: Radhakrishna Kandel has been elected Chairman of the CPN UML Lumbini Province. Kandel won by defeating Hari Rijal by 2 votes according to the election results. The vote counting was completed at the International Assembly Hall in Butwal.
Kandel received 479 votes while Rijal got 477 votes, informed the Election Committee.
Similarly, Bhoj Prasad Shrestha has been elected as the Vice Chairman with 455 votes. For the male Deputy Secretary, Purna Budha Magar won with 418 votes, while Lila Rana Magar emerged victorious as the female Deputy Secretary with 352 votes.
