Chief District Officer of Dang Sushil Baidhya removed from responsibility

KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office Dang, Sushil Baidhya, has been removed from responsibility. A senior officer of the Ministry informed Ratopati that Baidhya was dragged to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has opined to make Baidhya an absconding defendant in the Lalita Niwas case. The CIB’s investigation has concluded that Baidya, a resident of Pyuthan Municipality Ward No. 4 of the Pyuthan district, was involved in organized fraud and forgery while he was working at the Land Revenue Office in Dillibazar. In the 241st number of the investigation report of the CIB, he has been mentioned as an "absconding defendant".
