Man arrested with 800 thousand from unidentified source

SIRAHA, Aug 12: A man has been arrested for possessing Nepalese and Indian currencies from an unidentified source.

The Police arrested Sanjiv Kumar Shah, 48, from Madar Tole in Siraha Municipality-17 on Friday afternoon along with 802,000 Nepalese currency and 46,100 Indian currency.

.A police team mobilised from Khirauna Police Post arrested Shah when they found the unsourced money during checking.

He was coming to Nepal from India on a motorcycle numbered Ba 12 Pa 1637. 

Shah has been handed over to the Revenue Investigation Office in Itahari, Sunsari for further investigation, DSP Rabindra Raj Pandey informed.
