Loan shark arrested in Mahottari

BARDIBAS, July 27: A loan shark has been arrested by the police in Mahottari.

The loan shark, Indrajit Shah, is a resident of Hatisarwa in Bhangaha Municipality-6 in Mahottari. Shah's father, Raghubir Shah, is also reported to be a loan shark.

Shah was arrested by the police after he tried arguing during the meeting held in Mahottari District Administration Office. The task force was discussing the topic of unfair transactions in the meeting.

Around 20 cases of unfair transactions have been filed against Shah and his father in the District Administration Office in Mahottari.
