Congress transformation campaign starts from Janakpur
KATHMANDU, May 25: The Nepali Congress transformation campaign has started from Janakpur of Madhes Province today. In the campaign started by the third-generation leaders of opposition parties to establish Congress, the main agenda has been to put an end to the shortcomings, distortions and disharmony seen within the party.
According to Congress leader Bhupendra Jung Shahi, large gatherings and interactions will be held in all seven provinces during the campaign, for comprehensive reforms, changes and radical transformation in the party.
He said that the campaign will make Congress stronger. Adding that it would bring in new hopes in the party, and trust within party workers, he said that it would instill new faith among the citizens as well.
Similarly, the provincial gatherings will be held on May 30 in Kathmandu of the Bagmati Province, on June 3 in Pokhara of the Gandaki Province, on June 5 in Dang of the Lumbini Province, on June 7 in Surkhet of the Karnali Province, on June 9 in Dhangadhi of the Sudur Pashchim Province and on June 12 in Itahari of the Koshi Province.
