Nepal facing UAE in finals

KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepal will face UAE in the final of the ACC Premier Cup. In a rain-affected match, Nepal defeated Kuwait to reach the finals to play with UAE who defeated Oman.

After the cancellation of the semi-final match against Kuwait, Nepal entered the final of the ACC Premier Cup.

According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Nepal has succeeded in entering the finals based on its performance in the group stage by being better than Kuwait.

On the other hand, UAE beat Oman by a narrow margin of 2 runs on the basis of DLS. Batting first, UAE scored 236 runs after losing all their wickets. In reply, in the 43rd over, Oman could score only 190 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

The final match will be held on Monday at Kirtipur ground and the winner of the Cup will be playing in the Asia Cup.
