ACC Premier Cup: Nepal emerges victorious along with Sandeep's all-round performance

KATHMANDU, April 27: With the help of Sandeep Lamichhane's deadly bowling and splendid batting, Nepal has defeated Qatar by 68 runs. Qatar was all-out in 89 runs as Sandeep alone took 5 wickets. Along with the win, Nepal has become the winner of Gropu A and has entered the Semi-Finals.

In the final match of the group stage of the ACC Premier Cup held in Kirtipur, Nepal gave a target of 158 runs for victory. However, Qatar could score only 89 runs in 25.1 overs, losing all their wickets. 

Sandeep bowled 9.1 overs and took 5 wickets at the expense of only 14 runs. Sompal Kami took three wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi took two wickets.
