Preparation for 'Heritage Pageants 2023' begins

KATHMANDU, March 27: The 6th edition of the beauty pageant 'Heritage Pageants', started with the aim of awakening and promoting the heritage and culture of different countries of the world, has started. The organizer EPlanet Pte Limited, Singapore issued a press release and has prepared for the new edition of the competition. 

E-Planet Nepal's Santosh Sapkota will be the Chairperson and Rojin Shakya will be the official choreographer in the competition to be held in Thailand.  The event will be held from the 18th to the 27th of November. Wesley Saw from Malaysia and Rojin Shakya from Nepal will be conducting the competition jointly, which has opened for applicants.

Santosh Sapkota, the chairperson of the organizing organization, said that Susan Sanfurmi Koh is the program coordinator for the competition where the age group of 18 to 27 years old can participate in the Miss category, and 20 to 45 years old can participate in the Missus category. 

Heritage Pageant is an international beauty pageant. It tries to promote peace, environment, tourism, culture and above all global heritage from a global perspective.

This competition was organized for the first time in Nepal in 2014 by E-Planet Nepal with the original slogan of 'Buddha and Mount Everest are the identify, heritage, culture, tourism promotion and development of Nepali people, our campaign'. The second edition of the competition was held in New Delhi, India in 2015, the third edition in Sri Lanka in 2016, the fourth edition in Singapore in 2019 and the fifth edition in 2022 in Malaysia.
