Election Commission to return Rs 3 billion

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: The Election Commission will return Rs 3 million that it has received for election to the government, according to Dinesh Thapaliya, the chief election commissioner.
Earlier, the commission had asked for Rs 10 billion to conduct the general elections. Of the total amount, the commission will save Rs 3 billion even after conducting elections of National Assembly, President and Vice-president, according to Thapaliya.
